Though she finds Thrall's spirit fascinating and is at first unwilling to part with him she states she can still hear the cry of a lover's heart and that she has not forgotten what it was to love. She grants her blessing to Aggra and the player but warns that even with it Thrall himself may not wish to leave.
Therazane and her forces are under attack by the remaining Twilight's Hammer , which is rallying an army to conquer her realm, and Therazane cannot offer her aid until the threat has been dealt with. She sends Avalanchion to join the shamans at the Heart of Azeroth. When the four Elemental Lords were united under the banner of the Earthen Ring against the Burning Legion , Therazane joined Neptulon , Smolderon , and Thunderaan to commemorate this occasion.
Therazane was not initially aware of what the Legion or demons even were. During the assault on the Broken Shore by the Armies of Legionfall , Therazane joined the Farseer , Magatha Grimtotem , and Smolderon to take vengeance on the demons twisting Azeroth's earth. Therazane seems to greatly favor the Farseer , referring to them affectionately as her "new favorite fleshling" and a "true friend of the Earthmother. After a blacksmith adventurer and Ormhun Stonehammer created a Khazgorian Anvil , Therazane appeared and captured both the anvil and Ormhun, voicing great displeasure that Ormhun would share such secrets with outsiders.
She also demanded what the adventurer had to say for their self in the matter. The blacksmith adventurer explained that they'd been unaware of the sensitive nature of the anvil, to which Therazane offered a choice: They could take the anvil and leave Ormhun to his fate, or forgo the anvil and have Ormhun spared his life. If the adventurer chose the anvil, Therazane called them a "typical surface dweller" while releasing the anvil and that Ormhun would be punished someplace else. If the adventurer chose Ormhun, Therazane released Ormhun while voicing that she'd felt the adventurer had some virtue in them.
She would also give the anvil back as a reward for valuing life over possessions. Therazane is a monstrous humanoid covered with stones, earth, and clinging plants. She has squat legs and four powerful arms. Her unblinking eyes of gold-flecked agate look out into the world from her one head, but there are two other faces to be seen as well. Therazane the Stonemother is ruler over the earth, dirt, rock, and mountains.
She is revered by all earth elementals and creatures that dwell underneath the ground. Some druids of the wild see her as the embodiment of all that is peaceful and calm about the world. Some sages believe she feels pain whenever the ground is sundered and weeps at the destruction wrought by Deathwing and his ilk.
If so, however, she has done nothing specific to oppose the great dragon. I don't know exactly where the Earthen chain starts, I think I just stumbled into it. Comment by I count 58, Reputation in 1 off quest's.
So by the time you quest out Deepholm, you should be about 5k short of Revered. As there are some Mobs that yield Rep when killed, a little grinding could see your results differ.
My Experience left me completely quested out, and all dailies available, with none done yet. Good luck! Comment by I need to say this though I believe these two series are the only ones necessary though I did do a couple other quests trying to figure out which ones mattered. I will attempt to do just these two series on another character here in a week or two and post to confirm. Comment by Brosky If you did all the quests in Deepholm involving Therazane you should look at 7 daily quests out of which only one gives rep, the others awarding each rep.
This means you can get rep each day - I would say it's a decent amount for a few quick daily quests took me around min to do them all and turn them in. I would suggest wearing the tabard 'till you get revered so you can get the first enchant and some nice gear and then switching to another faction. Therazane rep is not that hard to get and by the time you get another faction to exalted, you will get Therazane from dailies alone. Cheers and happy grinding!
Comment by Okay, someone please help! I know I have killed the dragon that drops a pillar fragment, now is the middle fragment done before that one automatically?
I wasnt particularly paying attention to which parts I finished, and now I am stuck 58 quests in No one is giving me a new questline. I know I havent done a tripping the giants quest which someone told me I have to have done in order to beging the therazane rep. Diamant the Patient, the big quartz guy, isn't saying anything in particular, just the standard dialogue about the twilight cult.
I have no idea what to do because I am fairly sure I have gotten all the piller fragments and still no questline has opened up anywhere, Ive flown all over and I am still hated by Therazane, Please, any ideas? Comment by Has anyone tried grinding this rep with kills once you open it up? I noticed that some of the twilight cultists around the world give you five rep each.
Can anyone confirm when this ends? I would assume at neutral, but am not sure. It looks to me, based on the non-daily quests that you will be at reputation after doing the chain that leads up to the dailies assuming the faction quests on wowhead are all accessible on that journey. One needs rep to get exalted with a faction.
It seems easier to me to kill that many mobs than to do dailes for two-three weeks, though I have the insane title, so maybe I define easier differently.
I haven't done all of them yet, but atm I'm already friendly with Therazane. So i think it's the thing. I just flew over map, and found him by luck. I previously did the quest Maziel's Research which Neuber suggested some people might be missing thanks for the tip man. I hope that it helps you, as i know it's frustrating being stuck on something.
Also thanks for all the tips in this thread, i can say that from the quest names people link here, you should be on right track from now on. Comment by Alinny I practically skipped Deepholme whilst leveling, so I had done about 20 quests when I returned at level 85 to start on my Therazane reputation.
I researched it thoroughly, and found out how to unlock it. There are 2 chains that need to be completed to the very end: 1 Do the entire chain starting with the quest Explosive Bonding Compound. It leads you to Stonehearth, then Quaking Fields and at the end of it all, you finish the quest called The Middle Fragment.
You are then lead into The Maelstrom and finally Deepholm. After a few quests, you will be told to speak to Stormcaller Mylra aboard the Alliance Gunship in the quest called Diplomacy First. The latter of these quests will lead you on to a chain that, in the end, takes you to The Twilight Overlook.
Here you will meet Stormcaller Mylra again. Continue the chain until you get The World Pillar Fragment. When you've gotten this far, congratulations! Complete all the quests given by these two new NPC's and you should easily get started on your Therazane reputation.
I hope this helps! Comment by vcreation finally done it Comment by Masteradept Are the enchants BoA like the wrath ones? Comment by Start of the long chain to obtain middle fragment of the pillar: Where's Goldmine? Start of the long chain to obtain upper fragment of the pillar: Hero's Call: Deepholm! A or Warchief's Command: Deepholm! Comment by I was at 77 quests before I even encountered this faction, for those getting stuck.
Comment by Amarantine hello, i have 45 q now in Deepholm.. Comment by sidhebane My personal opinion is that this faction shows several poor decisions on the dev's part. Some points to consider: 1 This faction is the only source of shoulder chants for non-scribes. Ergo, every single toon will need those chants.
You've GOT to do this zone. Which kinda sucks if you're just enjoying the experience, levelled a bit too far, and skipped the zone pretty much entirely because you didn't do online research beforehand. Or if you're levelling multiple toons. You can start in hyjal, or you can start in Vash, you can finish in THL or Uldum but you'll darn well have to go to Deepholm.
Had missed the "My Very Own Broodmother" achievement. Comment by Masteradept One of the better quest chains in all of WoW. Was not bored or hating on doing it. Comment by Jacobstx The faction Therazane, named after its leader - Therazane the Stonemother - is a union of all the earth elementals living in Deepholm.
It is very similar to The Sons of Hodir in Wrath of the Lich King - players will need to quest a little for Therazane in order to bring themselves to the point where they can do daily quests for her. All players start at Hated with Therazane, and earn Honored by the time the non-daily quests are over.
Comment by So I think I figured out why some folks, me included, are having such a problem with quests in Deepholm aka the underdark. Going through the second time, on my rogue, and I did the first several quests, up to Diplomacy First.
That quest is available at the same time as Aid to Stonehearth. On my priest, I had done Diplomacy First, and then was unable to take any quests in Stonehearth or leading to Stonehearth, so I think I got phased by doing that quest. I have no solution, aside from opening a ticket, but I'm still testing this and some guildies are too on their alts. Hope this helps! Comment by I also couldn't unlock dailies so decided to fly clockwise around perimeter from Therazane's Throne and found Therazane at Oddly, I had checked this spot multiple times before, found him, but with no quest marker.
Perhaps flying well away from this area and returning did the trick. Really have no clue though. It unlocked a new short quest series, and voila: Dailies unlocked. HTH someone. Comment by I love how her legs are so tiny compared to her body. Comment by I'd hit hit Comment by McKaelaKiama I really like her Comment by guthimillerk big as the earth.
Comment by Necrothian You cannot actually kill Therazane. I flagged myself "at war" on two alts at various stages of quest progression, and got on my death knight, who has not gotten any rep at all with Therazane. Despite all my hard work, Therazane remained unphased by the hostile mortal screaming obscenities and "You're so fat" jokes at her feet. You're unable to even swing your weapon at her. You can, however, kill a small number of her stone lords, if you find them in the wild.
Comment by forestsage she scares me Comment by Lordplatypus Makes her daughter look absolutely gorgeous in comparison. Comment by Elandle She makes an orc noise when she dies? Comment by ProfessorFrink I like big butts, and I cannot lie. Comment by Amallah Your Stonemother is so fat she takes up an entire faction. Comment by ipic there are much uglier people than her but yeha she ugly but still not the worst. Comment by Klausnomi Just picked up the quest from Therazane in Deepholm on live. I am exalted with Therazane.
Comment by DragonMudd I feel bad for the voice actress. All of the male Stone Lords get special effects added to make them sound awesome View in 3D Links. This NPC can be found in Deepholm 2. Therazane says: Ah, my hero returns! Therazane says: All of this for a piece of the World Pillar? What exactly, shaman, do you intend to do with it? Therazane says: And so the "champion" arrives. Therazane says: And what then? Will you leave Deepholm to its denizens? She has squat legs and two powerful arms.
Her unblinking eyes of gold-flecked agate look out into the world from her head. Her unblinking eyes of gold-flecked agate look out into the world from her one head, but there are two other faces to be seen as well. Therazane the Stonemother is ruler over the earth, dirt, rock, and mountains.

If so, however, she has done nothing specific to oppose the great dragon. Therazane is the most peaceful of the Elemental Lords. She is a patient, loving, motherly type who encourages growing things and loves simply to spend long periods of time relaxing with those creatures that make their homes upon her. She often feels as though she is always at war with the other Elemental Lords : Al'Akir erodes her surface with winds, Neptulon beats his waves constantly upon her shores, and Ragnaros is a blazing furnace that churns at her fiery core.
She would be perfectly happy if the three of them would just go away. Therazane is slow to anger and attempts to avoid combat whenever possible.
